Child Nutriton, Kid's Health, and Baby Health

Children don't come with instructions for raising them, and especially for keeping them healthy, or helping them recover from an illness or injury.

As a parent a sick or injured child can make you feel nearly helpless, so preventing bad health, teaching children about safety and wellness, and helping children feel better during injury recovery isn't just for them, realize that it's also for our emotional and physical well-being.

Young children can be helped to understand the difference between growing foods, and foods that are treats. Kids understand 'growing' but will tune out when you use the word nutrition. Also, kids understand 'feeling bad' and growing foods help us feel good, and too many treats can make us feel bad. Remember to speak to your learning child in terms they understand, even when we're tired and frazzled. It'll amaze you when they start to understand, and put up less resistance when you're helping them in the future.
